Competition Terms & Conditions

1.1. This free prize draw (“Prize Draw”) is promoted by the FTP Lab (“Promoter”).

1.2. The Promoter’s decision in relation to the Prize Draw is final and binding, subject to applicable law.

2.1. The Prize Draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, its associated companies, their immediate families, agents and anyone professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

2.2. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and may request reasonable evidence of age, identity or residency.

​​2.3. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or whom it reasonably believes has attempted to manipulate or unfairly influence the Prize Draw.

3.1. To enter, participants must, during the Promotion Period:

a. follow @the_ftp_lab on Instagram;

b. like the Prize Draw post;

c. comment on the Prize Draw post; and

d. share the Prize Draw post to their Instagram Story.

3.2. The Prize Draw will open at 9am on 3rd October 2026 and close at 5pm on 31st October 2026 (“Closing Date”).

3.3. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be valid.

3.4. Only one entry per person will be accepted unless otherwise stated in the Prize Draw post.

3.5. Entries must be made personally by the individual entering. Entries made using automated systems, bots or other third-party methods are not permitted.

3.6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted or otherwise unable to be processed for any reason, including technical, network or Instagram-related failures.

3.7. By entering, participants confirm that their entry complies with these Terms and Conditions.

4.1. There will be ONE winner.

4.2. The winner will receive one plan of their choice from the plans available from the Promoter at the time the prize is claimed, subject to availability and any applicable eligibility requirements.

4.3. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

4.4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value where the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

4.5. The prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be sold, transferred or exchanged.

5.1. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received before the Closing Date.

5.2. The random selection will be carried out using a verifiably random computer process or by an independent person.

5.3. The Promoter will retain reasonable evidence of the winner-selection process.

5.4. The Promoter will not be responsible for the inability of an entrant to participate where this results from circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.

6.1. The winner will be contacted by direct message via the @the_ftp_lab Instagram account within 3 days of the Closing Date.

6.2. The winner may be required to provide their full name, email address and other reasonable information necessary to verify eligibility and arrange delivery of the prize.

6.3. If the winner does not respond within days of the Promoter’s first attempt to contact them, or if they are found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner using the same random selection process.

6.4. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner but accepts no responsibility if the winner cannot be contacted because their Instagram account does not permit messages, their contact details are incorrect or they otherwise fail to respond.

7.1. The surname and county/country of the winner may be made available to anyone who requests confirmation that a valid award took place, subject to applicable data protection requirements.

7.2. The winner may also be announced on the Promoter’s Instagram account following confirmation of eligibility.

7.3. If the winner objects to the publication of their surname and county, they should notify the Promoter when responding to the winner notification. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose this information to the Advertising Standards Authority where required.

8.1. Personal information supplied in connection with the Prize Draw will be processed by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner and providing the prize.

8.2. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at [PRIVACY POLICY LINK].

8.3. Entry into the Prize Draw does not automatically subscribe participants to marketing communications unless they separately provide the appropriate consent.

9.1. This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.

9.2. By entering the Prize Draw, participants release Instagram from any responsibility or liability arising from or in connection with the Prize Draw.

9.3. Participants acknowledge that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Instagram.

10.1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend or withdraw the Prize Draw where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.

10.2. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant where it reasonably believes that the entrant has breached these Terms and Conditions, acted fraudulently, attempted to manipulate the Prize Draw or otherwise acted unfairly.

10.3. The Promoter will not be liable for any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions where the failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

10.4. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any liability which cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10.5. These Terms and Conditions and the Prize Draw are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising from them, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

11.1. By entering the Prize Draw, participants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
